In January 2025, another talented director from Leeds Arts University got in touch with me - Emily Davis; she had written and directed a short trilogy of films called Nostalgia Trilogy.
It is an experimental trilogy of films that journeys through seasonal, generational, and event-based nostalgia, blending nature, childhood, and celebration into a vivid exploration of memory. Emily masterfully uses archival footage, retro formats, and stylized visuals to evoke the emotional texture of the past.

The fourth piece on the album, Whispers of Memories​, uses what I had written in the previous three pieces and combines the elements of those together into a continuous looping piece of music to use at an exhibition for the trilogy.
In June 2025, it was shown at the end of year showcase at Leeds Arts University along with many other projects by lots of other talented students. One of the films in the trilogy, Life Celebrations, was also shortlisted for the LAU graduate screening, Made It! The Nostalgia Trilogy is in the process of being sent to many festivals in the hopes of being shown to an even bigger audience, as it deserves, so for now, here is the trailer for the film below.
